PONTET PAUSE - WOMEN THE WATER SERIES - Size (19" x 24") - Open Edition - Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Paper

From an original colored pencil and acrylic ink work by Patricia Conner Adams. Seen from above, the figure leans forward, her form softened by shifting light and fractured reflections below.  The wide brimmed hat obscures her identity, inviting the viewer to step into the scene rather than simply observing it.

As with much of the Women in the Water series, this piece explores the space between movement and stillness as well as what is seen and what is felt.
