The Reclaimed Series explores the quiet life of objects after they have outlived their original purpose. Weathered trucks, abandoned storefronts, worn signage, and overlooked everyday items carry evidence of the people who once depended on them. Faded paint, rust, scratches, and sun bleached surfaces become a record of time rather than decay.
I am drawn to these subjects because they hold memory. They suggest roads traveled, conversations had, and places that were once central to someone's daily life. What remains is not simply an object, but a trace of human presence. By slowing down and studying these forms, I try to honor the history embedded in ordinary things and places.
