Can a mermaid rise from the ashes?

This one found her way back.  Originally commissioned as a large two-panel acrylic painting, this diptych was lost in a devastating house fire in Florida.  Years later, the only surviving photograph became the key to painstakingly restoring the artwork, allowing this mythical figure to return to the water where she belongs.
