Shimmer - Open Edition Fine Art Giclée Print | Water Series

Have you ever been mesmerized by the way sunlight dances across the water?

Shimmer began with an ordinary moment that many of us have experienced-a glance into the sparkling surface of a swimming pool. As an artist, I've always been fascinated by the ever changing patterns of light on water and the challenge of capturing something so beautiful, yet so ethereal.

Working in colored pencil, I transformed a photograph of my pool water into an abstract interpretation where light, movement, and color become true subjects.  Rather than depicting the water itself, Shimmer celebrates the constantly changing reflections that appear for only an instant before disappearing and creating something entirely new.

This open edition giclée invites you to pause and enjoy one of nature's simplest pleasures-a quiet moment where light and water come together in perfect harmony.

Shimmer received an Honorable Mention in Teravarna's 14th Abstract International Juried Art Competition.
